CREATION  by Ruth Fazal is a musical composition that brings the Biblical account from the Book of Genesis  to life, through an orchestral and choral experience. The piece is structured around the six days of creation, culminating in a seventh day that celebrates divine completion and rest.

Featuring a baritone soloist, full symphony orchestra and choir, each day of “Creation” combines the Hebrew text with elements of Jewish musical tradition, together with Ruth’s musical interpretation of each day.  To enable the listener to enter into the music as a meditation, Ruth has inserted the extraordinary art work of Kevin Moffat, who has specifically created several paintings for the piece.
